Nigeria Books of Record honors Bayelsa PFN Chair, Eyedoude
Bayelsa State Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Pastor Tam Seth-Eyedoude, has been inducted into the Nigeria Books of Record, in recognition of his selfless service to humanity.
Recall that the inductee, alongside his executive successfully hosted the 17th PFN National Biennial Conference, where renowned fathers of faith converged on Yenagoa for the 3-days programme, which among other things qualified him for the honour.
The induction ceremony, which took place at The Redeemed Glory Family Church Inc, Agudama-Epie, had in attendant fathers of faith, political class and other dignitaries from all walks of life within and outside the State.
In a brief exhortation, guest preacher, Apst. David Zilly-Aggrey, who preached on the topic “ The honour of men” stressed the need to honour those that have labored in the vineyard in order to be honored by God.
Represented by Apst. Abraham Monty, Apst. Zilly-Aggrey, described the induction of Pst. Eyedoude into the hall of fame of NBR, as well-deserved, urging him not to relent in championing the cause of Christianity.
Speaking, Wife of the State Governor, Dr Gloria Diri, applauded NBR, for finding the inductee worthy for the honor and called on the congregants to re-appraise their activities if they are in tandem with that of God.
Congratulating the State PFN chairman for the feat, Dr Diri said she felt elated seeing a Bayelsan in the Nigerian Books of Record and urged him to see the induction as a stepping stone for greatness.
Performing the induction ceremony, Director-General of NBR, Prof. David David, said NBR was established to encourage and appreciates Nigerians doing well in their various professional careers.
Prof. David, who explained that NBR was also established to change the negative perception about Nigerians in the comity of other nations, maintained that
inductees are elevated and positively positioned as role models for future generations.
In their goodwill messages, Aid on Religious Matters to the State Governor, Rev. Godspower Asingba, member representing YELGA constituency 1, in the State house of Assembly, Chief Ayebanegiyefa Egba, thanked the leadership of NBR for identifying the services of the inductee to the body of Christ, describing him as a dedicated and committed servant of God.
Also speaking, State Vice-Chairman of PFN, Rev. Tamuno Chesime, Media Director of PFN, Evang. Favour Kei and Elder Emeka Umeamor, ascribed the honour done on Pst. Eyedoude as well-deserved and a reward for steadfastness.
Rev. Chesime, Evangelist Kei and Elder Omeanor, prayed God to continually use the inductee, who is also the founder of the Redeemed Glory Family Church Inc, to positively impact the society.
Appreciating leadership of NBR for taking cognizance of his contributions to humanity, Pst. Eyedoude, said the honor would spur him for greater services to God.
He dedicated the honor to God, Governor Douye Diri, the State leadership of PFN, for being instrumental, saying he would continue to be a role model to the Christendom.
Other dignitaries at the programme were, Speaker of the State house of Assembly, Hon. Abraham Ingobere, representatives of SSG, Mr Anthony Ikobo and AIG Zone 16, ASP Obu Uni, State PDP women leader, Mrs Christy Ebeli, Mrs Eunice Akene, Josephine Akanga, and wives of commissioners among others.
